Seriously, it was on 8 hours a day! And Netflix was even worse because I'd want to finish entire seasons of shows. But now with two kids, it's never on. Occasionally I'll have the news on in the morning while DS is eating breakfast and DD is having tummy time but it's mostly background noise. Other than that we watch tv maybe one night a week. I've kept busy with activities with DS (he's 3) so we play, read, take walks to the park, he helps me clean and the rest of the day is spent cooking and sometimes napping. Since the we have another LO, it's so important that I give my son enough of my undivided attention to help him adjust. I never used to be, and in my house we didn't have TV, we were allowed to watch movies only a couple times a week, but for the most part we never had screen time. So honestly when I moved out I was so excited to have my own TV and no one telling me when I could/couldn't watch it. And now, I love it. And my husband is even worse than me!!!</p> <p>I always swore I wouldn't have the TV on once I had my LO and I am not holding myself to that. I don't know what to do. We honestly don't even have satellite/cable - we just have netflix and I watch hulu on my PC. But I've found myself turning it on even when LO is awake now. He is at the age, nearly 5 months, where he is fixated on the TV too- so I worry about it a lot more. I'm trying hard to have more self-control about it.</p> <p>Are you a TV addict?
