We had a down comforter but she refused to actually go under the blankets. If she was awake, then def not. I would put it on her after she fell asleep, and she would subconsciously kick it off right away. </p> <p>I found a lightweight but warm blanket at pottery barn outlet. It's huge but she likes to make a little nest with it and is always warm when I get her in the morning. I got her a duvet cover, but I'm worried a full weight comforter would overwhelm her. I'm not actually sure if she'll use the duvet yet or just keep her little blanket till she's older, but I wanted to find a thin comforter insert for the duvet for her to try out. Does anyone have one they like? Something lightweight that won't overwhelm a little toddler? </p>
