Two Boppies for sure. My nephews were often fed with the Boppies. Now that there's a 6 month old infant, they stack the two Boppies which is pretty cute.

I have 5 month old twins! We have two cribs which they are now in but for the first 4 months we didn't use the cribs at all! We got the "rock 'n play" sleeper so my husband and I could each have one on either side of the bed. Also, with two we slept on the couch in the living room with the sleepers next to us because we were up every 2-3 hours feeding, so it was convenient to be close to the kitchen. We also have two changing tables so each of us can be changing at the same time (probably not a necessity ). We have two of almost everything : bouncy seats, swings, bumbo seats, cribs, high chairs (just now using), car seats & a double stroller. I went to ALOT of consignment sales at local churches and got stuff pretty cheap. I also use Amazonmom.com for ordering my diapers. If you set up a subscription you get an extra discount and no trips to the store, which is difficult with two in the beginning!

Do you read Rebecca Woolf of Girls Gone Child? She just posted a great list of what she's been liking for her twins on Babble: http://blogs.babble.com/babble-voices/rebecca-woolf-gone-childs/2011/11/03/my-must-have-items-for-twinfants/

It looked like a pretty good list (admittedly, I don't have one baby, let alone two, so I'm taking her word for it!)

I have 7 month old twins and I definitely recommend two bouncers. My babies slept in the same crib and bassinet for the first while but they were tiny. They settled better together. In the first weeks and months I found trying to keep things womb like, helped keep them settled. With twins, when one freaks out often the other does too. Ugh! Over time they became more accusmtomed to being further away from one another and have been in separate cribs for 4 months. Good swaddling blankets are a must and a good carrier. I love my Moby. I used it with both of them in a pinch at first but now of course I just hold one. I liked having one full size swing and one portable swing. And it did go with us to friends' houses. I also really loved my double snap n go. It is compact, easy to get in and out especially post partum. We just made the jump to a double stroller last weekend. So I don't know if a full size double stroller is a must right now. If you have further questions, let me know. I love having twins!

you definitely need 2 cribs. wouldn't put them in the same one! i would get two bouncers. charlie used his everyday until about 5 months. you can keep your babies there while you go to the bathroom. but swings take up so much space, i definitely wouldn't get 2!

once they get a little older You will need two high chairs, tooth brushes, more bottles, my friend has twins and has two bottle warmers so they can get their bottles at the same time.

Yourself? Lol!
Aside from the obvious, like clothes and stuff, I'm not sure there's anything that you need two of RIGHT NOW besides the stuff you mentioned. Two cribs and playpens if you have the space; personal preference, I suppose.
I'd think you'd also need two swings/bouncy seats down the line. Oh, and high chairs.
I've never had any experience with twins, so just take my advice with a grain of salt, lol.

I have three friends with twins. They all had separate cribs for their babies. They did put them in the same room, though. I think, other than what you mentioned, you'll just need more of everything. More wipes, diapers, clean onesies, etc. Two of my friends got two bouncy seats - so when she needed a break and had to do dishes, laundry, etc and the babies were up but content to sit and rock. They got cheap ones, though - $35-$40 each.

so, i'm 18 weeks and i think it's time to start thinking about stuff i'll need. especially since i should be starting a registry soon. my question is, what exactly do i need 2 of?

i'm sure i'll need 2 carseats and a double stroller. but not sure what else. do you think they can share a crib? or can SIDS occur?
