The article sounds pretty vague, outdated (using participants from '96-02 via self-reports), and out to scare people. I would have to see the actual journal article to get concerned about it or not.

That said, I'm still taking my Tylenol when I need it, all things in moderation when possible. My toddler is fine, I took Tylenol during that pregnancy, so I see no reason to avoid it during this one either.

I read something similar about Tylenol while pregnant and asthma later on. My take away is avoid taking anything as much as you can, but don't stress yourself out about or suffer through the worst headaches or whatever because of a possible connection.

Yikes I take Tylenol daily.

I think it was a little ridiculous the quote about their being no randomized control trial. There will NEVER be a RCT!

I agree, I feel like there are so many "maybes" with pregnancy. I understand it's always changing, but I think I just will use my judgement for the next one and stop listening to reports, I think it's getting a little out of hand lately!

Just came across this article on CNN:
http://thechart.blogs.cnn.com/2014/02/24/acetaminophen-in-pregnancy-linked-to-adhd-like-behaviors/?hpt=hp_t2

Summary: One research study is showing a link between taking Tylenol while pregnant (particularly after 20 weeks) with "ADHD-like behavior" in children, although they are not yet saying that it is a causal link.

Thoughts? My basic thought is: Ugh. Why does everything have to be so wishy washy. I wish there were a better way to figure out what was actually safe and what wasn't safe without all the guesswork and "maybes."
