She was never really a fan of the bassinet except for during her early newborn days. I figured we would do our neighborhood walks in the bassinet but she has other plans. It was still winter so we had a bundle me in there. No infant insert because it didn't really work with the bundle me. We had her inclined and she was totally fine without the insert. It was literally the greatest thing ever, since you could just pop the baby from the car to the stroller without picking them up or waking them. I bought a car seat adapter from another mom to decrease the cost. Not interrupting her sleep was huge for us (she doesn't transfer well), so that's why we went that route. She was fine in the toddler seat at around 5 months, set at the "almost flat" recline mostly. I'm deciding whether to get the car seat adapter so I can use it with her car seat, or the infant insert for the toddler seat. I'm assuming using just the toddler seat right now wouldn't really work yet? She is 12 weeks, a little over 11 pounds. How long did you use the infant insert if you had it? </p>
