They only have forward facing seats. However, where are you staying? I don't have a car (DH has it all day) and bus and metro everywhere. We recently went on a cruise and needed to uber from the airport to cruise terminal. We did the latter when we visited DC before we moved here. It was a bit of a pain but honestly worth it not to drag a car seat for what we were doing. At least in the NYC area that is the case.<br /> And I know this is a sensitive topic but you aren't magically safer in a cab just because it doesn't require car seats (I'm not saying you believe this or singling you out. I'm just bringing it up because "everyone does it" here in NYC and there is zero rationale behind not having your kid in a car seat in a cab in NYC. Zero). It's similar to the phenomenon that occurs when people don't wear seat belts in cabs. It makes no sense. </p> <p>Sorry, I digress.
