Thanks ladies :heart:

I called, and the doc on call said they would be more concerned if I had been bleeding, because placental abruption is the main concern when you fall. I am not bleeding and not contracting, so I think I'm in the clear. If I still have a lot of discharge in the morning, I'll call back and talk to my regular nurse.

I was sure I was overreacting, but then again, you never can really tell. So I'm glad I called, and thanks for the support. Good thing that I don't have to do much this afternoon, and there is football on to entertain me :)

@redsmarties: ouch! That had to *hurt*. I didn't land on my belly, but I could tell at church this morning that moving was not going to be easy for the rest of the day! Heating pad and tylenol it is.

@MrsKoala: yes, but thinking that way would be rational. And we all know how that goes... ;)

@BabyBoecksMom: I figured as much, but not ever having broken my water before, I wasn't sure. And again with the rational thing :silly: I put in a pantyliner, and it's still dry, so I'm taking that as a good sign.

@mrs. 64: he's been awesome today. Really, a rock star. I'm a lucky gal :)

@Foodnerd81: this! And the fact that we were right at freezing all day didn't help matters much.

Ouch!!! I would keep up w/ the heat and Tylenol to give you some relief. If you water had broken, it would be a clear liquid and it would continue to leak w/o stopping. But, it's always good to check w/ your doctor just in case.

I also say call your doc just in case but the purpose of all that amniotic fluid is a nice cushion for baby when things like this happen. A woman in my childbirth class was in a bad car accident around 24 weeks where her car was totaled and baby is just fine!

@googly-eyes: sure. When I fell, I twisted a bit, so it felt like maybe I overextended a muscle on the right side of my belly. Heat helped it go away for a bit, as did Tylenol, but it's hard to move around or twist. I also have some more sharp pain right down by my pelvic bone that feels like it's going down my right leg, and some throbbing around my inner thigh/up to my vagina.

Part of what calmed me down was that it's mostly on my right side, as opposed to both-I think that would scare me more. Also, baby has been kicking all day. You ladies may be right, though-I probably should call. Part of me feels like I'm just sore, and that I'm overreacting. The other part, though, just can't get worst case scenarios out of my head.

Thanks for making me feel less crazy.
