I think I only had about 4 or 5 each cycle, but as I said before, they retrieved 13 eggs. I thought I was doomed based upon my numbers, but in the end they didn't mean anything for me, and hopefully the same is true for you. So I don't put much stock into that number either. IUI with injectables sounds great! When is your ultrasound to get your antral follicle count? That's a little more important. My second RE, who sees tons of women with DOR, didn't care at all what my AMH was even though it was bordering on undetectable. He also thought my 9.6 FSH was really no big deal as far as DOR goes. I think mine was also a little over 8 now that I think about it. Under 10 is still decent. Your FSH is not too high like in the teens. I know the numbers are daunting. I spent hours researching the heck out of the numbers once I had them. Chances of success, etc. but it really will just drive you nuts. Are you planning on IVF or naturally trying? How long have you been ttc? It was 8.58. That's why my new RE wants to run the AMH test. He said 8.58 is on the high side, so he needs to look at the AMH number to determine if I have DOR. When I got the news about the .6, I freaked out. I thought it was the end of the world. But as I said, my body still had plenty of eggs, so that .6 can go pound sand! I spent MONTHS freaking out about that AMH number. I just don't want you to freak out like I did if you get a low number. Can I ask why they are testing that number? What have you done thus far with ttc? Also, did you have other blood tests, too? I know the AMH is supposedly pretty accurate, but in my case, even though I had a low AMH and was diagnosed with DOR and was freaking out, I still surprised everyone with how many eggs I got via IVF. (Didn't do IVF due to DOR, but tubal issues) I got 13 eggs and was only expecting like 3 or 4 due to my AMH. So I'm just saying that if the results aren't what you were hoping for, think of me and that really the AMH is just a number, does not determine your chances overall, since it only takes one time, one egg, etc. Good luck and I hope you get the results tomorrow so you don't have to wait. I will go insane! That number will pretty much give me THE answer as to wether or not I have DOR. The RE told me the results would be in tomorrow, but the nurse called and said next week. How do I remain calm? :sad: </p>
