I *hated* team sports growing up - not a competitive bone in my body. I still do hate them, actually. G would never play football. It took forever to even get him open to soccer &amp; then he out of nowhere told us "I've *always* wanted to play basketball" (we had no clue). lol He refuses to play baseball too b/c he doesn't want to get hit with the ball....... the kid is so weird, has bruised up legs from skateboarding but won't play a sport b/c he doesn't want to get hit. So far we're in soccer team limbo.....</p> <p>First, he didn't get his old coach &amp; the team he did get practices 30 minutes OUT OF TOWN (the condition the coach had to agree to coaching again since that's where they live). There is no way we could do this twice a week the whole season with our 1 car &amp; financial logistics.</p> <p>So... DH called the old coach &amp; found out how many kids he had on the team &amp; then called the lady in charge of things along with the president of the board to see about getting G switch to atleast a local team.</p> <p>We'll know tomorrow what the verdict is. It took 8 stinking years to get G interested in playing a sport &amp; he did so wonderful last year with his coach/team (out of all of them we saw at the games we were really glad we got who we got) and now he may not get him! UGH!</p> <p>I'm so upset! I think I may email his old coach &amp; see if his roster is full for the season (we had a few players end up not playing last year) and if there is ANY way he could request the change. UGH I SO HOPE SO! UGH! (that's not "too much" right?....)</p> <p>G doesn't know he may not get his coach again. Total mommy fail! Fx crossed we get the coach we like!!! eep! I can't believe I friggin forgot! :/ </p>
