LO is 10 months and we have yet to join any playgroups. I'm really shy and find it really hard to approach new people, especially when it appears that a clique already exists. I lurked on HB forever before I decided to join. </p> <p>I don't know if this will help you but I try to remember that most people are very nice and join those kinds of group to meet new people. I'm sure you'll fit in great. I feel like LO is starting to get to an age where it'd be good for her to be around other babies and for me to be around other moms. She seems to be settling into her naptime routine more every day and she's becoming more aware of her surroundings (7 months). </p> <p>I'm nervous because I'm not great at meeting people. I'm probably better than before I had LO but still, I'm a fairly shy individual. Hopefully I'll be able to go to one of these meetups in the next couple of weeks and hopefully it'll go well. </p>
