I had a yeast infection the month we conceived in fact it was a few days after i O'd. I would ask the pharmacist at the drug store what they recommend. i think i just used the regular 3-day one

I get YI pretty often (yuck!) so I ramp up on probiotics rather than doing monistat or something similar. Good luck!

I think I had a yeast infection the month I got pregnant - I think I also gave it to DH and I remember it was quite uncomfortable for both of us but I made us BD three times during ovulation and it worked  So I don't think you're out, don't worry!

I was also told the 3- and 5-day creams don't work during pregnancy, but the 7-day Monistat or Gyne-Lotramin creams are safe and effective.

ETA: I don't know how the creams would affect trying to get pregnant, but maybe wait a day or two to see how the YI symptoms develop, and hopefully that will get you past the important days?

Looking at your chart, I think you may have already O'd (though the OPK is misleading, so we'll see tomorrow). I also think its fine to use the cream. Though maybe google for some natural remedies if you're worried about it?

My doctor just preferred me to use the seven day OTC treatments instead of the three or one day doses.

I know when I had a YI during pregnancy, I was told by my doc to use 7 day monistat.

I would take the medicine. I read that YI's are really common in pregnancy and OTC creams are perfectly safe. They just don't recommend the pills. But maybe consult your doctor? Oh and maybe dtd a little before using the cream so there's no interference? Once they get past your cervix you should be good to go I would think.

I either just O'd or am about to O and I think I am coming down with a yeast infection. I don't have any itchiness/uncomfortableness but I do have discharge that indicates a YI may be flaring up.

What should I do? On the off chance that I did already O and may have conceived, I'm a little wary about using an over the counter YI treatment as I normally would. Also, if I have not yet O'd, will the yeast kill all the sperm eliminating any possibility of getting KU this cycle? Am I out?
