My husband has been traveling a lot for work lately so i am home alone fairly often. I used to get nervous but he explained how hard it would be for anything or anyone to get in our apartment. We have three locks on the door plus the chain. We lock the windows unless we have them open and then we have a piece of wood to keep people from being able to open them from the outside. And that said, we live on the second floor, so even spiderman would have a tough time getting in the window.

I sleep very well ;)

DH has been working nights and will have to for a couple more weeks. I'm definitely up later than normal while he's gone and I also think every little noise is something to be worried about. I was ready to attack when I heard the ice maker the other night. Hopefully you've been able to get some sleep though!

So hubs is in our new house and me and little bit are in the old house for one more week. It's been fine but I had my dogs here (90 pound mutt who sounds scary). Hubs took them because the movers are coming this week.

It's 3:30 and I've been up for an hour and a half because every time I try to go to sleep I hear something and I freak out. Ugh I am exhausted and tomorrow is going to suck if I can't get back to sleep.

And of course my brain goes to the worst case scenario.
