Normally the lid doesn't close with the phone in there but somehow it got lodged in there. I can't open the lid all the way to get the phone out. Somehow the upholder lid closed on it and now I can't get the phone out. I found instructions online for removing the panel to get to screws that hold the lid on. Not sure I feel like I can do this myself. Would you take apart your instrument panel or would you take it to the dealer? </p>
