They would just charge me more when I had direct auto pay and say they upgraded me, they would send me a higher bill and say that I have to get the new kind of internet blah blah blah that I had to pay $200 for this new internet then that I had to pay even more since that price was promotional...&#60;/p&#62;

&#60;p&#62;We used to have TW, and after months of issues threatened to leave, hoping for a bill credit. The rep asked what day the next week we would like our service disconnected. They don't curr.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I had a recent near identical experience with Comcast.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I called to see what promotions were available, roughly a month before our current promotion ended. We were shopping around for service, again, and gave ourselves a month buffer to find a new provider. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The agent I spoke with said there wasn't anything available, but she COULD renew our current promo for another year effective that day. I got my confirmation number, wrote down the new exp date on our calendar and felt satisfied with the transaction. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Well, I got a $350 bill in February.  I called to see what's going on &#38;amp; was told that since our promo didn't end until January, the rep wasn't able to renew it the day I called. Instead of taking care of this on their end, they let the promo expire. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The guy I talked to last month fixed this for us, but not without giving me major attitude and telling me that we weren't entitled to this service. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Similar to you, we have limited options. Fios isn't in my area &#38;amp; our only other option is DISH, which is surprisingly more expensive than Comcast (and their internet speeds are slower too).

<description>&#60;p&#62;My Internet bill used to be $X.  I called and down graded to a different service on march 3, which cost $X-$10.  So my bill comes and it's for $x+$10.  I called them, got a huge run around and supposedly I can't have this tier of service because I'm not a new customer (note its not a promotional price, its a tier of service).  This is after switching, receiving a confirmation number and having the rep tell me what my bill would cost with the new service.  I'm so irritated.  There are no other home Internet carriers in our area and we don't have Internet on our cell phones but I'm seriously considering canceling.  I even had one of the reps tell me the original rep lied to me.  How is that my problem? Shouldn't the reps all be trained on the same thing? I'm so irritated! Any one else have TWC horror stories?
