Unfortunately, he'll likely look at the incision, ask you if you have any questions, and then that's it. (Hopefully I'm wrong. I'm not an OB, but I am a surgeon, and I have been totally comfortable letting my minor/routine cases see their primary providers because I make myself accessible to my referrers. Especially ones who live far away.)</p> <p>But yeah, the wait sucks. :( My last clinic I was over 2 solid hours behind. I had an appointment with my doctor who gave birth to S via C-section later that day at 2pm. He saw me through my labor from start to finish, and his appointments were rescheduled to a different doctor. Today's appointment is with the OB to whom my care was transferred (from my midwife) when I had to have an oxytocin induction and ultimately a c-section. He was kind of a jerk to me and I really don't want to have to see him again. I also have a 6 week appointment with my midwife on Wednesday. She will be checking all the same things as the OB, and I've been in her care exclusively since I was discharged from hospital 48 hours after DD was born.</p> <p>Anyhow, my appointment was for half an hour ago and they've only just now called in the three women whose appointments were before mine. If I'm here for more than an hour I think I might just leave. I don't really want to be that person, but I HATE having to wait!</p> <p>End of vent! </p>
