Yeah... I am nearly 5 months postpartum and just now I feel like I'm getting more control over my bladder. I would say the first 2 months I needed to wear a panty liner just to catch excess pee. Now I sometimes feel the need to go when I'm working out, but at least I don't need to wear a pad all the time. I had no idea it would be like that. Before having a baby I just thought it was something that happened after your third or fourth kid, but not after the first. I was so naive!

I totally hear you. Unless my bladder is COMPLETELY empty, I cringe every time I have to pick up Wagon Jr. or do something strenuous like that because I KNOW I'm gonna pee a little. UGH. I try to do my kegels but I think it's still gonna take just time for things to be strong again down there. (I'm 3 months post partum)

After I had DS it didn't take long until it seemed like I had my bladder control back. The exception was while I was working out and sometimes just having to go right.this.second. Well, DS is 18 months, and today I ran my third half marathon. I'm approaching the finish line and I have to decide whether to back off or pee my pants (just a little). Thank goodness for black running capris. They hid it well. (I hope!) Maybe next year I can sprint to the finish line of a race without my bladder thinking it's go time!
