I worried the entire pregnancy about the impact on my first child, how the transition would be for him and if he had enough time to be our only. Most of all I worried about the time away from him in the hospital, he had never had a baby sitter and had never been away from me for more than a couple of hours. For all that worrying, he did GREAT and it was a very easy transition, probably because he was so young. The first year of "2 under 2" was definitely hard for me but overall I am really happy they are close together.
