I might keep the best looking one and have it make an appearance some day, to see if he recognizes it. It was *very* sweet of him.</p> <p>My mom made me give my diapers and bottles to the "diaper man" - my dad's coworker came by in his truck, and was wearing a suit. In return, he gave me a lollipop, and a pair of "bow shoes" - red, patent leather mary janes with a bow on the toe. I was in awe/terrified, and gave everything up, cold turkey. He had been having some trouble weaning off the pacifier, but agreed that on his fourth birthday, he would trade in his pacifiers for a "big boy" bike. </p> <p>While I was at work, he and his mom left a big, wicker basket full of pacifiers on our doorstep - there is at least 35 in here. He made a card for the baby, explaining that they will "help her" - very sweet.</p> <p>They've been cleaned, perhaps even sterilized, but they're chewed on, like most used pacifiers would be.</p> <p>Should I just recycle them? We're not even sure we'll be using pacifiers with DD (who has yet to arrive), but if we do, I feel weird offering used ones. </p> <p>WWYD? </p>
