They just knew we didn't want to know and told us to look away at certain points. Then I was diagnosed with PIH and had ultrasounds weekly and still didn't find out. Then we needed to go again at 25 weeks to get the spine checked, and we again, told her a million times we didn't want to know, even looked away and turned the screen. However, she apparently could easily tell because she blabbed we were having a girl. I would just tell your tech you really don't want to know, and look away. If they are up towards the face you shouldn't have issues. DH and I don't want to find out the gender. Did anyone have an U/S at this point? Was the gender unmistakable? I'm worried because the baby is so much bigger now that we might not be able to avoid finding out. I'm ok with looking away when they are doing leg measurements and whatnot but I do want to be able to watch for the most part since this will be my only chance to see the baby before birth assuming no complications. </p>
