It always hurt me too! I always asked if I could get up and walk around, or drink a little OJ to get baby moving.

At my scan, she spent about 15 minutes pushing around to get the last heart measurements. She finally just gave up. Sorry you're so bruised up! Maybe see if next time they'll let you shift around or walk around first before bopping the baby. Feel better soon!

At DS' anatomy scan they couldn't get a good shot of his face, but they didn't spend all time trying to get him to move. She tried a little and then just ordered a 2nd ultrasound at my next checkup.

I already know LO is going to be stubborn and uncooperative, because at yesterday's 15 week growth scan they spent almost an hour trying to turn him/her to get their last measurement. It's hard when you have no belly! Please tell me this is not common. I know the tech was just trying to do her job but she had to keep digging into my belly with the wand and I concentrated on relaxing my muscles and not fighting the pain. Today I'm all bruised and having all kinds of RLP that I hope is normal.

Do they do this at the anatomy scan too?
