DH is the same way. He would be thrilled to get a $20 stroller. I do love a huge canopy and basket, which is why I love the Cruz. And at first DH wasn't convinced about the Cruz either but he's glad we have it now. Ok, I'll do more research and look into some of the other brands the other bees have mentioned and see if there is something less expensive but with huge canopy, basket and can recline! I use my vista 90% of the time, but use the nano if we are taking the bus (easy to just pick up onto the step) or if we are traveling or taking the cr for whatever reason (visiting parents, the mall, whatever). We don't drive often though, living in a city. The vista is just way too big and cumbersome to get in our car. </p> <p>So for us it was a worthwhile expense. My DH was actually pretty against it (he wanted to get a $20 umbrella stroller from BRU). But it got such great reviews and has a huge canopy and basket, so I finally convinced DH (and like you said it's just so pretty!). We live in the city and LOVE the Cruz. I feel like it's compact enough where I wouldn't have any issues using it in crowded places. It's our only stroller right now and DD is 20 months. I guess I would feel differently if our full-size stroller was bigger and I felt like I NEED something smaller and more lightweight. I just want the G-luxe because it looks pretty. Haha. It doesn't recline though so if you intend to rely on it for naps I would get the g luxe. LO is now 2 and we rarely use either of our strollers unless we're going to be out all day or we're taking a family walk around the neighborhood. I'm looking into getting an umbrella stroller for future travels and I love the look of the G-luxe. DH thinks we should just get something cheaper because he's not sure how often we're really going to use it. I mean I guess we could use in all the time instead of the Cruz, but I don't want the Cruz to go to waste either! Did you stop using your full-size stroller once you have the umbrella stroller? And which umbrella stroller do you recommend? </p>
