@Alivoo01: don't be sorry. It's so out of control. I need to get it thinned out or something. But I'm in a wedding in a week so I'm waiting til after that. Until then it's lion time.

My body hair growth actually slowed down for me both pregnancies (don't hate me!). I haven't shaved my legs once this pregnancy so far! And usually I have to shave at least once a week.

My head hair growth, however, has been out of control. I look like a lion.

My body odor went through the roof! It's still not so bad, probably not noticeable to others, but I usually have ZERO. Now even when I wear deoderant I can smell myself, and I have to wash my clothes so much more often.

My very first sign was extremely itchy hands for two days. I had to break out my wire brush to relieve the itch! I thought I had a neuro disorder, but two days later I tested positive!

Other than that, the hair in my armpits grows like crazy, but not on my legs? Also, I'm loving my nails now that they're so strong.

I will be sad when I can no longer play the pregnancy card to explain all the weird biology going on with me though! :)

Good symptom - the most beautiful, healthy fingernails I've ever had in my love

Bad symptoms - Burping (all. the. time!), to quote the OP - "fast growing hair in the bikini area", and all the random aches, pains, feelings that come with pregnancy.

Also the constantly stuffy nose, and the crazy dark hairs that are now growing around my belly button (TMI?) I'm a little too scared right now to pluck them off

I had a weird buzzing sensation in my lady parts from conception to week 8 and then off and on in the second trimester. You can't make this stuff up!!

I also am surprised by my congestion (and when I blow my nose it's always a little bloody). Ew.

I'm 10.5 weeks at this point and my acne is out of control (I feel GROSS). I also had what I refer to as stabbing vagina pain for about 3 weeks---occasionally made me gasp for my breath, but according to my doctor is was totally normal. I still get that pain occasionally, but not nearly as often as during weeks 5-8.

My first symptom was a rash under my wedding ring. Also, I have so much extra hair that when I had my eyebrows done today, she offered to do my upper lip for the first time. So embarrassing! (My tummy is ridiculous with hair. Though my nails are PERFECT with zero effort.) Also, I knew to expect and increased sense of smell - but I didn't realize I'd be able to smell my husband's wedding ring from 4 feet away (on the plus side, there's NO point to use a timer for the oven.)

Like @mediagirl, the feckin groin pain. Damn that hurts. It took me five minutes to shuffle the 9 feet from sitting room to bedroom tonight, I was that sore.
And the carpal tunnel- my right hand is not far from useless. V annoying.
And the swollen ankles! Not entirely unexpected, but it's actually quite sore. And ugly.
Happily though, the hair on my legs now grows FAR slower than normal... Although its not like I'm going to show them off with the hideous feet attached to them...

@JessLC: My body hair hasn't increased (knock on wood) . . . although there is a small chance that I am not fully evolved. :P The range of symptoms and differences between all pregnancies, even as between women who experience multiple pregnancies, is fascinating!

@sorrycharlie: same! i still shed the same amount of hair on my head, but my body hair grows like a weed! and my boobs are still the same size (really small!) too and they itch uncontrollably. it is so annoying.

@MsLipGloss: yes, my hair was oilier in the first couple months, but seems back to normal now as well.

I have to wonder if there is an evolutionary purpose for all of these body changes....more body hair, keeps the baby warmer??

Anybody have unexpected pregnancy symptoms? Mine are dandruff (which I have never had before), fast growing body hair (armpits, stomach, bikini area), and intensely itchy nipples (there are some days I have to slather them with calamine lotion to relieve the itching!). Sorry if this is TMI!

Anybody else?
