Thanks everyone for the support. I just had a small brown clot, so now I'm even more nervous, but I know there's nothing I can do. I just had an ultrasound this morning!

I had bleeding the entire first tri, and it all worked out fine. I had a SCH that wasn't found until 2nd Tri around the time bleeding stopped.

I had bleeding off an on I believe from 6 weeks till about 13 weeks. It was basically the day after I did any sort of strenuous activity like walking a lot or lifting something heavy.

I was scared too... I got an ultrasound pretty much every week during that time. The baby was fine each and every time and my OB told me to try to take it easy but it was very stressful!

I never had red blood but one week I had a lot of brown blood and clots coming out. OMG so scary.

My OB said that there could be a number of reasons but they will never know for sure...

1. it's old implantation bleeding making it's way out finally... slowly but surely.
2. the placenta wasn't fully attached yet, and doing strenuous activities is causing move and maybe cause bleeding. This was highly unlikely because the baby was growing fine.

I magically stopped bleeding at about 13 weeks though. I'm 26 weeks now and the baby is fine.

I do have placenta previa (which means my placenta is covering my cervix), when I found that out I asked if that was the reason I was bleeding early on and the doctor that was on call for my 20 week U/S said.. he doesn't think that relates at all.

@SeptMomma12: Yes, as A+, you don't have to worry about the rhogam shot.

Here's my post about my bleeding:

http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/could-this-be-a-miscarriage

I got a lot of positive feedback about others spotting in early pregnancy. I really hope everything is okay! <3

I bled for during my 1st trimesters with both my kids - I think it happened every month when my period was due. It was really stressful but it did go away. Don't be afraid to call your Dr. if you need reassurance - that is what they are there for.

@Adira: My blood type is A+, so I think that means I'm not RH-negative, right?

I had some random minor spotting in my first pregnancy, but never like this. Totally freaked me out

This happened to me! I had a low lying placenta but it moved in time for me to deliver and I have a healthy 4 month old now. Hoping all goes well for you!

I had this at 7.5 weeks and it definitely freaked me out. I had spotting for a few days, with some of it being heavier than others. It was never bright red and went away after a few days and everything was totally fine!

The main concern is if you are RH-negative, you'll need to get a rhogam shot. Do you know if you're RH-negative at all? Otherwise, and especially because you had an ultrasound and confirmed everything was okay, I think you'll be fine! Brown means old blood so it could just be from implantation or something.

I'm 8 weeks and randomly started bleeding last night. It never turned red, but it was some heavy brown discharge. I happened to have an ultrasound schedule this morning and baby looked great - measuring right on schedule with heart rate of 179. She saw no explanation for the bleeding and told me not to worry unless it gets heavier or turns bright red. But I'm still having a hard time relaxing. It has slowed down today, but there's definitely still spotting.

Anyone else have anything this? How did everything turn out?
