Yes, say something. Snapping onesies and cleaning faces are pretty basic aspects of care taking. Once every so often, I can understand, but not on a daily basis. They need to tighten up.

Definitely say something! You are paying them for their services and they need to know you're not happy.

I would talk to the director. Immediately. The teachers don't need to know who complained. They're taking care of your child; they should be accountable. I've been facing some issues with our day care (constant combining of rooms and teacher roulette) and DH sat down with the director. She promised us a schedule and some other changes. Some happened, some didn't. We're switching at the end of August, but I'm still glad he spoke up for some the changes we did get.

Yeah, I've got my panties in a twist about some day care workers. I'm so happy to be switching LO soon.

DD has been in daycare since October when she was 5 months old. She goes to a large daycare center that has infants up through pre school. This month she moved from the infant room to the "Tiny Tot" room since she is now walking, but I haven't been too happy with the new classroom. It's still a 1:4 ratio so I feel like the level of care should be the same. Twice when I've put her in a onesie she's come home with it unsnapped and hanging out (how hard is it to snap it when you change her?). She got a diaper rash at daycare yesterday, which never happened in the infant room. She's always filthy when she comes home. And the ladies in the classroom just aren't as nice to DH and I as the infant teachers. I'm really non-confrontational, but I'm considering saying something to the director. She'll only be in this room til November, then she moves to the toddler room. What would you do?
