Like...doesn’t that defeat the purpose? And yet, I’d feel guilty just accepting the free drink. We go to two a year. One is a huge farm that has big slides and a corn maze, a petting zoo, pony rides, hay ride, a kids train, a giant jumping pillow... we don't even get pumpkins from it. We just go for the activities. It's so much fun.</p> <p>The second one we go to has bounce houses, a trick or treating trail, pony rides, kiddie pools full of corn to dig in, a hay patch to find "the needle in the haystack" to be turned in for a prize, and a hayride too.</p> <p>My kids love them and the weather is so beautiful here it's a great weekend activity. My work days including commute are about 12-13 hours long. Any additional time is spent just getting ready in the morning, spending the last couple hours with the kids and bedtime. Maybe a few small chores. I pretty much knock out right away. I can't "make" time. Weekends I often have the kids by myself and when I don't we do family stuff and house stuff that require us both. We try to give each other breaks for hair cuts and such. My husband doesn't have regular hours. My kids are average intelligence and got sick a lot as babies. Haha. They were EBF for six months and I continued just over a year.
