Some time around 34 weeks I found out they were tearing down my cube. With literally no notice. Guys showed up expecting to knock it down and wanted to know when my stuff woukd be out of there. I had to pack it all up, including crawling under my desk to unplug stuff, and move it all by myself. Oh and I had no idea where I should sit so I had to squat in a cube filled with computers and then move it all again 2 days later.

Usually people kind of babied me when I was pregnant.

I did have a job interview where the interviewer wanted me to commit to going to a training a few days before I was due. It was 12 hours away! She kept asking if I could commit to it. I didn't get the job. When I complained to their HR (because it was obviously discrimination - it was a job I was really uniquely qualified for!) she told me there was a training every few months and I could have just gone to another one!

I can't think of a great one, but my boss wanted me to fly to San Francisco for a work conference while 29 weeks pregnant with twins. I probably could try to make it happen, but then I'd have to stay in the hotel because walking around that pregnant on some of the biggest hills ever - no way!

Uh, my worst was people expecting me to have no coffee or caffeine whatsoever (thanks, 16 year old Starbucks barrista in an airport when I'd been travelling since 6). But that's nothing on some of you ladies!

I'll be 35 weeks in Sunday, and my work schedule is PACKED right up until my scheduled repeat c-section. If this kid comes early, I'm seriously screwed. Not to mention the 3 weeks of call I'm scheduled for.

My boss wanted me to go to a client meeting (via train 3 states away) two weeks before my due date with #1. I told him I wasn't comfortable with it but I would go if he really wanted me to. I went into labor the morning of. Pretty sure he didn't believe me when I emailed him saying o thought I was in labor and wasn't going to come into work until I sent him a pic of baby that evening lol. I had two people from my clients organization who had heard I had the baby text to ask if I had gone into labor at the meeting! Haha

We had a work holiday party today, and I'd volunteered to help out with a few things (bringing food, organizing the Secret Santa, and tear-down). While we were cleaning up this afternoon, and putting the conference room back to rights, I just picked the jobs that I wanted to do. That is, I stayed off the step-stool and didn't carry heavy items. I did push one of the tables back into place, however, and one of my male co-workers laughed at one of the others who was also moving tables, and said that the pregnant lady was showing him up. There was absolutely nooo expectation that I would do anything I didn't feel like doing. I'm 25 weeks, as of yesterday.

@sorrycharlie: UGH! I hate when the cart returns are far away from the car. I try to always park right beside them or else I won't be getting my cart back there.

My first pregnancy my boss expected me to go on an annual team meeting 2 weeks after giving birth. It was a 2 hours drive away.. huh no!!

I don;t have any bad ones yet this pregnancy. We'll have to see.

Before I got my BFP, DH & I made a plan to go camping with LO, FIL, and my FIL's sister mid-July (FIL's sister lives out of state and likes to buy airfare far in advance so it's less expensive). I'm due in July. I think DH must of had a moment of insanity when he wondered why I laughed at the idea of keeping these plans.

I can't think of any good ones right now. A cart collector at the grocery store gave me attitude for leaving a cart in an empty spot and not walking many spaces to the cart corral. Um - I'm not leaving my toddler alone in the car to go that far and I'm CONTRACTING. You look about 17, fit and young - push the cart yourself.

Also, people keep offering to help me by taking O. What I NEED is someone to clean my house but no one wants to do that.

My husband just reconnected with his childhood nanny. She and her husband invited themselves over for dinner. I'll be 39 weeks. I apparently have nothing better to do than entertain two strangers a week before #2 comes.

My SIL sent an email with a list of what everyone can bring to her annual Christmas Eve party. She's expecting 140 people. I'm supposed to make my "famous" cookies. Five days before #2.

FIL asked me to arrange a Christmas tree for his condo and to decorate it at 37 weeks. He has 20' ceilings.... Sure I'll climb up that ladder for you.

MIL made fun of me for taking a rest when I helped her move house at 14 weeks with my first baby.

My boss is annoyed at me that I'm missing two hours of my last day at work to go to an OB appointment.

This time around hasn't been too bad, but last time when I was still working in PR, I was asked to go meet with reporters at a local hospital who were writing stories about flu season, the Tamiflu shortage, etc. I was I think 36 or 37 weeks pregnant. Go hang in a hospital's ER during flu season? Um, hell no.
