It's like watching a beached whale fighting to survive. She has these patches of dry scaly skin around her ear and she has been scratching them nonstop. We've been putting a sock on her hand and she gets so angry when she tries to scratch. </p> <p>Both of my kids are head-rockers... when they're falling asleep they whip their heads back and forth. WJ used to bang his head on the crib rails too if his head was close to them. He would do it mostly when he was pissed off. I'll move her towards the middle of the mattress, but the next morning, her arm is around the mattress again (wedged between the mattress and the side of the PnP). As a child I flopped my left foot to go to sleep. I still do it when I'm really, really tired. Does your LO have any funny self-soothing techniques? Or did you? </p>
