@Leialou: things are okay, my LP is still short (7 days) so I went to my dr and showed her my charts. she said they looked very good (sans the short LP) and since it hasn't been too long off BCP to keep monitoring and then come back in 3 more months. She did some bloodwork too and it all came back within the normal range, so who knows! DH goes back to his dr. in Sept. if we haven't gotten PG by then...

@eastcoaster thank you. I'm hoping it's still too early too. We decided to start TTC again like everything is normal. Maybe we'll get lucky. :) How are things going for you?

@Leialou: I was thinking about you and signed in here because I remember you mentioned June was when you were going back to the dr. Maybe this was just too early and your next appt will have better news, but at least the motility was better! Hang in there, we're still TTC too I just haven't been checking into HB as much this month.

Good news about the motility!! Sorry the rest was so frustrating. And 3 months does feel like forever but the summer always goes fast so the wait will be over before you know it :)

Yesterday my husband and I went to the urologist for a follow up to the varicocele surgery he had on March 1st. Dr. L was surprised to see us back already. He said he likes to start analyzing semen after a four month minimum. My husband and I were surprised to hear that because his office is the one who scheduled out appointment. They checked his scars, which looked good, and then I stepped out so he could provide a sample. Dr. L decide to throw it out and not charge us because we had not abstained from sex the same amount of days as we did before my husband gave his pre op sample. Oops. But before they threw it out the lab tech looked at it and said the density and count is still low, but motility has increased from 30-50%. Dr. L then told us that motility is typically the first thing to improve. My husband has another appointment on July 23 to have another analysis done, and probably another one at the end of September.

This is what I took away from the appointment:
- it's still too early for an answer
- by the September appointment either I will already be pregnant, my husband's SA will have improved enough for Dr. L to tell us to try naturally for a few months, or Dr. L will have us start IUI.

I'm frustrated only because I'm tired of waiting and 3 months seems like a long time. I know it isn't though. And we have a lot of fun things planned this summer that the time should go by fast. Hopefully. :)
