We are allowed to get pregnant!! Under a couple conditions:<br /> I have to stop smoking before she will take my Mirena out,<br /> DH has to get tested for Cystic Fibrosis because I am a carrier<br /> I have to monitor my BP for the next 5 weeks to establish a "normal"<br /> I also have to start taking Folic Acid and start limiting my caffeine intake.<br /> At our next appt on 2/15, if DH isn't a carrier for Cystic Fibrosis(which the odds are slim he will be), then they will remove my Mirena and it's time to make a baby!!!<br /> OB said, she and my regular dr (all in the same practice and building) will decide if I should take a low dose of BP meds just to keep regulated and I will stay on my WeightWatchers plan since it provides me with the right amount of calories each day( OB will decide when to increase my calorie intake once pregnant) That way I shouldn't gain weight while pregnant which is what the OB wants.<br /> We are really excited. The new OB is amazingly nice and optimistic and said she would take care of me the best she is able and that we will have her blessing for baby making in about 5 weeks if we do our part for preconception!!!<br /> I cried and am so very excited I can't even explain it! DH and I can't stop smiling!!<br /> Thanks for all the support! </p>
