We use the vista with both rumble seat and ride on board. We use both but on a daily basis we use the second seat. It is not hatd to push with both kids, you just get used to it. I love the UBV bc to can convert it back to a single in 10 seconds when you only take one kid.

@sailgrl18: I have the same stroller. I bought the rumble seat and ride on board on Craigslist, my older LO will be almost 2.5 when the baby is born.

That said, if I had a side by side double like the city mini I don't think I would bother getting the rumble seat. I hear it's not that easy to push with the extra seat, so I'm sure the city mini double would be nicer to push for long trips, and I think the ride on board would work for the shorter ones. I also think you will be able to get the rumble seat used later on if you decide you really want it. My friend called uppababy and they said they are still manufacturing them for now, it's just most stores were briefly out of stock.

I would just get the board. I have heard the vista is not that great with the rumble seat (harder to push, more bulky). We plan to just use the ride on board when LO2 is here in October.

@Truth Bombs: That's what I'm leaning towards. I'll probably still get the ride along board though since a short walk is probably still 5-10 blocks and I'm not sure how much he'll want to walk.

I also have an older Vista and I think I'm just going to get the City Mini GT and skip the accessories for the Vista. I'll take the double for any longer trips and for shorter trips LO1 can just walk. But my older LO will be 3 when the second is born so she can probably walk farther than your LO without getting worn out.

We have an older version Uppababy Vista stroller that we have used and loved with DS (19 months) and we are expecting Baby #2 in March 2016. DS is small (24lbs) so I'd expect him to be below the 35 lbs weight limit when #2 arrives.

Since the update to the new model, older Vista accessories are really hard to come by and many stores no longer even carry them. One of the local stores just got a shipment of the rumbleseat in stock and I could get one ($100) to convert our Vista into a double.

However, while I was waiting to see if they would come back in stock I was able to pick up a City Mini GT double off our local listserv for $50. Its in really good condition so now we have a side by side double. So here is my dilemma, do we get the rumbleseat and have an inline double or just get the ride along board so that DS can either walk along with the single stroller or catch a ride on the back and for longer trips we'd use the City Mini Double?

Also I'll add that we are city dwellers and our stroller is basically our car. Fold doesn't matter because we won't be putting it into a car often.
