<description>&#60;p&#62;Ive not tried the bumbleride, but if you are talking about the hard stuff near the water, the UBV will handle that just fine. You can either lock or unlock the front wheels to suit whichever is easier.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I live on the ocean and my family has a cottage where we spend the summers. Most of my beach friends have the Bumbleride indie which they claim is a must and pushes on the sand well.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I am in love with the UBV and wondering how it would handle sand? We would be walking on the hard packed stuff down near the water, so not the fine powder.
