We actually mostly go to urgent care for everything. Stitches, illness, blood work, etc. Besides being much closer to our house, we just prefer the environment there over the alternative. It's pretty much on par with the cost of a regular office visit, but obviously with the flexibility of being served on a first come basis.</p> <p>Before we moved, we used our local UC. It was fast and the doctors were very good. The UC in our new town is awful, though. I know this one is fairly new. A friend of mine told me about it b/c she takes her boys there. I went for a UTI b/c all of a sudden, I started getting them after having DS. Our insurance waives the usual copay fee. It's convenient especially since we do not have primary care physicians.</p> <p>I did have one bad experience with a different UC facility. Mine is open til 8pm today. </p> <p>I have a skin issue that need to be looked at. It started about a week ago. I was hoping it would go away but I think it's time to see a Dr about it. When it comes to my heath, it has to be pretty bad or effect my daily activities for me to see a doctor. </p>
