I don't know, I think it's okay. She now has lots of used toys and other teethers that I've sanitzed (boiled and/or cleaned with vinegar or bleach) and we haven't had any issues. XD I know I just posted a thread yesterday regarding being germphobic about a baby swing, buuut....</p> <p>I'm a member of this FB page called The Giving Tree and people post a lot of stuff to give away for free - you just pay the shipping. So, say someone's giving away a cloth diaper, they offer it up, everyone numbers off, then they randomly draw a number and if you win you just paypal them the couple dollars in shipping and they send your stuff out. It's pretty nifty.</p> <p>And someone just offered up one of those Sophie giraffe teether things. So I entered...then I started thinking, is it okay to use a second hand teether? I didn't have immediate qualms, but I'm not sure (this FTM thing has me doubting some things I never even considered!). I mean, realistically, any toy is going to get some baby nomin' action, right? As long as it's good and sanitized.</p> <p>Anyway, what do you guys think? Fine as long as it's cleaned? Or something to buy new and unused? </p>
