Glad that this chart keeps giving! It made me feel OK with not having the energy to have sex on O day. We got -4, -2, and -1 covered though, yay :)

Thanks everyone!

@citymouse: that chart is really helpful, thank you! I've never seen it before but that's basically exactly what I've been looking for :)

@citymouse: That's a great graph! I've never seen that before! Thanks for re-sharing it, and thanks to @mrs. someone, also.

We DTD O-2 and had our IUI on O-1. I was nervous that nothing happened on O day, but now I'm not so worried!

The month i got my bfp, I used the ClearBlue monitor and we BDed both of the days I got the smiley face and most of the days leading up to it. We actually did not have time to BD in the days following the smiley faces.

Agree with the above! Ovulation is said to occur 12-36 hours after the initial +OPK. Once you get a +OPK BD that day and for a couple more days. Hopefully your cycles are somewhat regular, and you can kind of guess when you will be getting a +OPK, should you need a 2nd try, and you can BD the day before +OPK like @Smurfette said, and the day of. This chart is helpful, that @mrs.someone posted...

Basically BD when you see a positive and everyday for 3 more days after the last positive to be safe.

Same with CM. If you see fertile CM, BD and keep BDing until the CM dries up!

Ditto what @Mrs. Polish: said. Get busy as soon as you see a positive!

The month we got BFP, we DTD Sat morning, positive test Sun afternoon, and then DTD Mon morning before DH left for the week.

@AbbyCadabby: The thought I went by was if I got a positive OPK then I was going to ovulate within 24-48 hours. I think DTD in that time frame is what is suggested. If I recall correctly, sperm can live up to three days.

I feel like I should know this but no amount of googling seems to give me a clear answer. I'm using an OPK and can never figure out the timing of it. When I get a positive, does that mean ovulation is imminent or that ovulation is occurring at that time? And once I get a positive, what should the timing be for getting *it* done? The directions seem to indicate that a positive means there's some kind of 48 hour window but what if you only test once a day?

I also rely on CM to let me know when ovulation is happening but can't figure out if once CM presents itself, that means it's already starting to be too late or if that's just the beginning of the process.

I'm not sure why but I find this whole thing a little confusing!
