I just took it out the next morning. It worked for me! Also I never peed beforehand so I would have plenty to flush my urethra out with afterwards. I've had so many UTIs when I was younger. I didn't research it to death before trying it since it seemed innocuous, but I did a little reading and the reasoning made sense so I gave it a try. Apparently in some fertility treatments a fuller bladder is suggested to help align/ straighten(???) the uterus. Post BD I laid down for about 45 minutes, sometimes with my legs in the air, sometimes not.</p> <p>Again, it all could have been random and I know how incredibly lucky we are, but thought I'd share my story since you asked. (Avoid doing kegels within the first half hour or so after intercourse though as this could push the semen and therefore the sperm away from the cervix, which is exactly where you want them to be). Exercise and bowel movements also push cervical fluid to the vaginal opening making observation easier.
