I found that a lot of the toddler ones I found were too wide for LO and the points on the fork werent sharp enough for him to get any food on them. I got some at World Market that are like real silverware but they teeny. They are called "cocktail flatware". We love them!

I don't have any greats recs but I wanted to say your description made me laugh. We are in a similar boat but it's getting better as she gets more coordinated. We do have one set of spoons from vital baby that are pretty good because they are short and flat. I'll attach a pic in a second.

We used the take and toss kind for a while... Small and it's okay if you lose them. Ikea also has great plastic kid utensils!

DS has started to express a desire to feed himself over the last week, he grabs the spoon out of my hand constantly!

At the minute we are using some tommee tippee spoons with a soft silicone end, and this softness/flexibility causes it to basically become a catapult when faced with LOs not so gentle handling - leaving me regularly covered in his dinner!

Any bees have reccomendations for baby/toddler utensils which are firm and don't have flexible ends, but safe for a 10 month old?
