But that account is basically out of site out of mind. It always took a few days for transfer to our checking account, so it's not as "liquid" as savings accounts that are tied to our regular savings. We have a regular savings, Christmas club and online savings for emergencies but I'd like to set up something specifically for vacations. We have never been on a vacation as a married couple or even a family, and would like to make that a priority in a few years. We would definitely need to start saving now to even make it possible. I would prefer something out of site out of mind. </p> <p>Any ideas on how to start something like this where it's a little harder to dip into? </p>
