We are renting a house, so it's been a pretty normal adjustment, just a different space for DS. </p> <p>but I have found that babywearing is a necessity. I love the Maya Wrap because it's not as much fabric as the moby, so it doesn't get too hot. It's also easy to nurse in, or use as a nursing cover. We have the Beco too which is nice. But I haven't even used the moby yet.</p> <p>Also, I've tried to keep our schedule/routine as similar to home as possible. He still gets put down for naps every 1.5-2 hours, although one nap a day he usually is held or in the maya. I'm not sure if you're driving, but I was able to keep a bunch of stuff of his with to keep him comfortable, like his bouncer seat,, his mattress pad, his blankets, and activity mat. He's seemed to enjoy having those pieces that are his own. Cobi took two naps in the car. I was lucky enough to ride with my parents, so I sat next to Cobi the whole way up, brought his favorite toy, and played with him.It went smoothly.</p> <p>The first night we went to bed together at 10, I figured it'd be an awful night since it was a new bed/room etc, so I let him sleep with me (dh wasn't there yet) and he slept 8 hours! amazing. he's never slept that long ever!<br /> Next day, he took all his naps great. Day 3 and last night was harder (but he wasn't in our bed as DH was here!) but still going great.</p> <p>Baby wearing is a necessity!
