I think I would have been less comfortable with it had it seemed that she was just trying to do it for shock value, but she genuinely seemed like she was into the whole process. Like it had some sort of a purpose for HER, kind of? So in that sense, I support her wholeheartedly. It didn't gross me out. I use a menstrual cup, so I have definitely had times of getting up close and personal with my own monthly flow-- I don't see anything too gross or awful about it. Honestly, though, I don't really see the point on a personal level.
