I wasn't the best candidate based on my first labour which was an induction that stalled at 6.5cm. But I had no significant risks that said I couldn't try, so I tried. I got very hopeful as I made it all the way to 9cm this time before stalling. I could have potentially kept going if not for my previous c section. Second labour was also an induction. My sister flip-flopped a lot on her decision. Her third and fourth are a little over 2 years a part. Her OB was really great and said my sister called all the shots, so if she changed her mind at any time and wanted a c/s, that was ok. I think that's what was the deciding factor. My sister lost quite a bit of blood and kept blacking out but I don't think that was due to her VBAC and her baby had some scary heart decelerationsurgery but all was ok. In the end,I think she was happy for the VBAC because her third was an emergency c/s.
