I know our covenants actually spell out neighborhood 'quiet hours' that say no obxious noise or work before X am and after X pm. I went out and asked him to take a break for about an hour, and he totally had no problem with that... he left and didn't come back until 4pm! It was irritating but I can mainly block out all the yard work noise. I did get upset one time when they left lines down in our yard. I thought it might be power lines and it was after the workers had all gone home so I called the power company to come out, but it was their cable and phone lines. I still was pretty mad that they didn't bother to get them out of our yard or tell us what lines they were putting down, I had two dogs and a baby who I would go out there with. One of the workers apologized the next day when I told him but the owners never bothered.
