I get mild vertigo if I stand up too quickly, but nothing too serious. I generally just have to stop and wait for my vision to clear and I often lean up against a wall (or a piece of furniture), but it's nothing too scary, so I'm guessing it's a very mild case of vertigo.

DH has it almost like once a year. Poor thing would start vomiting if he stands up. He says it's like the room around him is spinning and his ears are buzzing. He also carries Dramamine everywhere.

yes i have had it on a few occasions, its really scary. i sat up in bed and its like the world was wobbling back and forth like a see saw, kind of how you feel after spinning around in circles for a long time.

do you ever get it or have had it???

I got a really bad one a few months before i got married...i was balling i was so scared...dr said it may have been due to stress..

i got a mild one last year....and i just got another earlier this morning...it feels like your brain is recalibrating...like when you hit the reset button on your monitor and the screen jumps, get blurry and then has a clear picture...i hate it, it makes my neasous and drowzy...i have learned to carry dramamine with me everywhere just in case....
