I asked about this on the Jan due date board a few weeks ago, and every reassured me it's completely normal.

I've been drinking plenty of water and trying not to stand still for any extended period, and it's been much better....

FWIW, i think I'm also prone to hypoglycemia. I ate breakfast before having the drink for the GD test, and my blood sugar was still lower than the normal range....

I was going to mention low blood sugar also - when pregnant I get bad reactive hypoglycemia - eat/drink something sweet, body floods insulin in response and blood sugar goes too low. It really kept me from eating sweets because it was so awful! Nausea for me was related to (thanks again pregnancy) reflux but that was constant vs one time.

May not be that but throwing it out there!

@Sams Mom: I had vertigo badly around 23-25 weeks

It turned out to be high blood pressure for me

I started medication and it improved.

It could also be hypoglycemia/low blood sugar - at least that’s what my OB mentioned at the time -so definitely keep some snacks on hand.

It was so bad for me I went to an ENT and had my ears checked out but all that was normal. They had me do some exercises before bed to reset my ear just in case.

I’m so sorry you are dealing with this. I hope you can see your doctor ASAP. I had to take time off work when it first started because I couldn’t drive

I was always nauseous so I can’t comment on that. ;) But I did have a dizzy weird spell after having some sweet tea, but I attributed that to the fact that I’m sensitive to caffeine anyway. Pregnancy does such weird things to our bodies! I hope you feel better! ❤️

Anyone experience this before? I'm 19w tomorrow, and on my way to the grocery store I had a brief bout of vertigo, and nausea for about 15 minutes.

I had ate lunch and snacked afterwards. I did mostly ok on water intake and had a couple glasses of sweet tea at lunch. I assumed it was a random thing, but then when I got home and was unloading groceries it happened again.

The vertigo was enough to make me pull over on the way to the store, and then the second round I sat down in the recliner for a bit and it subsided fairly quick.

I messaged my doctor's office, but I won't know anything until tomorrow morning.
