It was $200. It doesn't tilt or pan, but we won't use that anyways. I don't think the smaller one pivots/tilts. Let me tell you though, I love that feature. For a newborn, you may not need it so much since you have it just pointing to the crib or whatever. But if you plan on using it long term, it's AWESOME for a toddler's room.
