The quality was good enough, but video cameras have come a long way since then. I think a DSLR should do the trick for recording a musical. LO1 has a musical coming up in a couple of weeks that I would love to record (20 minutes long), but I'm not sure if I should buy a video camera or just do it from my DSLR. </p>
