@MamaBehr: we'll eventually we will move to a bigger place and they will have their own rooms. But I guess by then C really won't need a camera, since she will be at least 3, maybe older.

We will also have the baby in our room for several months, but I don't think we had a camera on C when she was in our room.

I wouldn't buy two cameras, I would just get one that can move so you can scroll to the different beds. We are moving our boys into the same room (eventually), and I don't think we'll have two cameras in there. When we move them, though, the youngest will be in a big boy bed (in fact we are doing bunk beds! ah!) and we won't have to worry about a baby in a crib.

We have a Foscam that pans between the two cribs. It's a little slow because it has to pan across the entire room to get from one crib to the other, but otherwise works perfectly for us.

We will be in the same situation, but I don't think we will get a second camera for baby, just use the one we have for it and let my toddler do her own thing. She is in a twin bed and just gets up whenever she pleases. :silly: Wish I had registered for one that moves to begin with! Would have been nice as she moves a lot during her sleep.

We don't. We keep the camera on the baby and listen out for the toddler. We do have another camera, but it's used in the room where baby naps in the PnP.

Do you have two cameras if you have two kids sharing a room? I know it's not *necessary* but I really like being able to peak at my toddler. She will probably move to a big girl bed at some point, and the baby will be in a crib in her room, at some point. So I'm wondering if having two cameras would be helpful or crazy. Our current monitor doesn't pan so sometimes even if she just curls up at the head of the crib she disappears. It's pretty junky and I'd like to replace it, but of course the nicer ones are $$.
