@autumnlove: if it's going along the same route as Wagon Sr.'s, just to give you an idea of healing time... he started feeling irritation on Sunday afternoon, and by Monday morning it was noticeably red. This morning (Thursday) it looks almost back to normal! Just a little bloodshot on that side still.

@autumnlove: I'm almost completely better, woohoo. But we both stayed home on Tuesday to recover... WS still had to go to work because he had a class he couldn't miss, and class is right next to work. I worked from home. WS's eye looks almost completely better now, just pink instead of blood red like it was yesterday, and the swelling is pretty much gone!

Hope yours is not as bad as WS's was...!!! Ahhh!!!

@rachiecakes: Omg I got shingles when WJ was 5 months...!!! I was 29!!! It started on the day of my friend's wedding... I was a bridesmaid! I thought it was a clogged duct. Ohhhh the pain for so many days until I finally realized it was something different!!!

@mrs. wagon: I'm the same way! I don't get normal colds, just the weird ones. Pneumonia, shingles (I was 27!)... never strep or bronchitis, haha
Hope you both feel better soon!!

Thanks! I swear, the weirdest things find him. It's viral, so it most likely came on the same way a cold does, and because it's not bacterial, all he can do is wait for it to go away. He's got antibiotic drops but since it's viral I dont think they do much.

On top of all this, LMw had a terrible night last night. I was seriously debating bringing her into our bed because I didn't know what else to do, but of course this happens on the night WS got pinkeye...!! Bahhhhh

Ugh... So thank GOD I'm not referring to one of the kids. It's Wagon Sr. ...!!! He has such a great immune system that I swear, normal illnesses don't take him down so all the weird ones find him. He got pneumonia a couple of years ago and now he's got viral conjunctivitis. Yesterday he said his eye hurt and this morning he couldn't open his eye. It looks so awful... like someone punched him in the face. Poor guy. The pain in that eye is really severe and his other eye is super tired from overcompensating.

I've got my first cold of the season so even though it's not bad, I feel so run down because it's been a while since I've been sick. Now the question is... who goes to pick Wagon Jr. up from daycare? The daddy with the eyepatch or the stuffed up mommy? Sigh.
