You can get married with the river in the background, and the grounds are really pretty. Down side: not a whole lot going on in Lynchburg. I don't know of any specific venues to hold a wedding, but Charlottesville probably has a ton of options. My family is in AL and her fiancé is from Boston. She has no desire for an AL wedding and wanted to have the wedding in the Boston area, but some of our siblings etc aren't too keen on flying. She wants a fall wedding when the leaves are changing. I suggested maybe halfway so it's drivable from Northern AL and Boston and you still have the pretty fall colors. Any location suggestions-either area or venue? She's going for Fall so not the beach. Just a shot in the dark here. Thanks! </p>
