In elementary through high school I had to wear them all the time. After that I just had to wear them for reading. Now I don't really need them at all but I am so used to them I wear them anyway! My eye doctor said it wasn't uncommon but it shouldn't change too drastically. My prescription isn't too strong and I can see fine without my glasses unless I'm looking at something far away. Have your optometrist (or someone who didn't make them) check the glasses to make sure they match the Rx. I ordered some online a while back and they got it mostly right, but they missed one small part of the Rx and that makes it tough for me to wear them for longer than an hour or two. Last year I had no change in my eyes. This year, my left eye got worse by one step, going from -2.50 to -2.75. I put the glasses on though, and couldn't really see clearly! So either the eye exam wasn't accurate, my glasses were made incorrectly, or most likely: my eyes got a lot worse in just a year! Going to the eye doc today to get a new eye exam, and new glasses too. </p> <p>Is your vision getting worse as you get older? </p>
