We found a girl at the county fair that was legit. She looked like a kid, but her great-grandma (also a psychic) told us "she has it strong". She predicted my marriage to my ex, which at the time, seemed ridiculous since we haven't met yet. I saw her again years later, before I left overseas and she reassured me that it was best. I think she might have even mentioned something about DH, "a guy with a T in his name ..." But I don't recall a lot of he details because her predictions are always YEARS in advance. I think she might have been the one that predicted about BFF's DH too.</p> <p>I've visited other psychics as well, but she was the one that's stood out. We live not too far from Cassadaga, a rather famous spiritual community, and I 've thought about visiting a few times over the years. Just haven't made it. </p> <p>My step father had a reading there like 40 years ago. He was told lots of things, but one was that he would have red-headed twins. So after he and my mom married (I was 12-ish) and she got pregnant, he kept joking about it. She kept warning him that she would kill him if it were true, and told him to stop taunting the universe. Needless to say, they ended up with twins who were born with red hair, thought it has turned brown over the years. The psychic told my SIL that someone named Lisa, someone she never met, but that was important to her family, wanted her to know she was watching over her, and she was ok. </p> <p>My MIL's sister Lisa died in a car accident when she was 19 (5 years before SIL was born, but SIL's name is Lisa's middle name). When SIL told her mom about what the psychic said, she was sobbing! And there's no way that the psychic could have known about Lisa's accident, or the connection. One was so amazing that I recommend her to all my friends for when they are visiting New Orleans and the ones that have gone to her haven't been disappointed.</p> <p>The only thing I told her was my birth date and time I was born. She talked about two big things for me at that time--a relationship and my job--and she was very specific. She knew that I had to re-interview for my position (I almost fell off my seat when she mentioned this) and knew some details of my former relationship and how he treated me that I hadn't shared with anyone. One of her friend's was hosting a party but she wanted a support person there, I reluctantly agreed to attend as a bystander, with no intentions of getting a reading done. </p> <p>Once we got there I gave in and got a reading, and oh my gosh I was never a believer before but after listening to her, I am 100% a believer. She called me out on my worrying and told me that if I don't learn to deal with it that it will internalize and cause me health issues (same thing my doctor has told me numerous times.) She could see my baby &amp; assured me that my delivery next Monday would go great (never told her we were being induced on Monday) and she was able to connect with my husband's grandma who just passed away by name and told her she was watching over us and would be with us at the hospital, I was truly moved by this because she was saying phrases that her grandma used regularly when relaying her conversation. </p> <p>Anyone else ever had a reading? Are you a believer? </p>
